Exploring the Interplay of Social Determinants and Health Outcomes Towards Equitable Well-being
Main Article Content
Abstract
The intricate relationship between social determinants and health outcomes, focusing on their impact on achieving equitable well-being. Social determinants encompass factors like income, education, housing, and cultural influences that shape individuals' health journeys. The exploration reveals that these determinants are critical in understanding health disparities and creating a more balanced and healthy society. Through a synthesis of literature, qualitative research, and interviews, it becomes evident that socio-economic factors significantly influence health outcomes. Income and education play pivotal roles in accessing resources and making informed health decisions. Housing conditions and neighborhood environments further affect physical and mental well-being. Cultural influences intersect with social determinants, highlighting the unique health perspectives of different communities. This exploration also underscores the importance of community engagement and collaborative efforts in addressing health disparities. By acknowledging and acting upon the interplay between social determinants and health outcomes, we can pave the way for a future marked by health equity, where everyone has an equal opportunity to achieve optimal well-being.
